THE SUN STILL SETS:
SURF LODGE GOES VIRTUAL
BY: DUNE ROAD LIFESTYLE EDITORIAL STAFF
The Sun Still Sets is the best way to celebrate the start of Summer 2020.
Even though our Memorial Day Weekend plans aren’t what we’d hoped (i.e. getting faced in Montauk with all our friends), the good people of Surf Lodge (with help from folks at Bumble and NYC’s Governors Ball Music Festival) have come through with a way to feel those out east vibes from the comfort of…wherever you’re quarantining.
On May 24, 2020, at 6:30pm Eastern, you can tune in to a virtual concert featuring performances by Rüfüs du Sol, Bob Moses, DJ Snoopadelic (a/k/a Snoop Dogg, but DJing), Sofi Tukker, and more. This epic lineup is something only Surf Lodge can put together on such short notice, and we’re thrilled that they’re doing what they can to make our MDW feel like those of years past.
RSVP here for your invite to the virtual event, turn up at 6:30, and get your dance on.
Also note: the event does have a COVID-related charity component, soliciting donations for World Central Kitchen (“WCK”). WCK provides meals for those in need around the world, and even though the event is over, you can still donate here.
