WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Sel Rrose brings the excellence of the NYC mixology scene to Montauk in a venue that’s quintessentially east end. Helmed by veteran NYC bar owner Kristin Vincent (of Sel Rrose (the NYC version), Fig. 19 and Home Sweet Home fame), the Hamptons iteration of her house of mixology is poised to serve up the same level of cocktail in a far more relaxed setting.
At the Montauk location, expect to find a select list of elevated cocktails that’s simply dripping of summer. From the Summer Martini, featuring a hint of passionfruit, to the Amor de Moras, with flavors of cucumber and blackberry, Sel Rrose has a menu that sings melodies all its own. For us, we’d go with The Hunter, a smoky cure for the chill of summer nights out east.
Pro tip: a dozen oysters with the champagne shallot mignonette.
