We remember Moby’s, in all its iterations, and we just love the fact that they’re returning to the old spot on Pantigo Rd. We could sit back here and tell you stories of the old days, when we were young and reckless, drinking the night away at the old spot. But then things changed. We grew up. New spots opened up. Montauk boomed. Moby’s moved away, doing a brief stint in Northwest Harbor.
And now the band’s back together, with the crew returning to glory in East Hampton, and we can’t be more here for it. Relaunching in Summer 2020, Moby’s offers a gorgeous outdoor dining opportunity on their huge back lawn, complete with a fire pit, a bocce court, a ping pong table, and more.
The new menu features a solid selection of pizzas and pastas that are perfect for a little dining al fresco. If you’d ask us, we’d say go with the Tuna Crudo to start, followed by a Coppa Pizza.
Pro tip: Save room for some of their homemade ice cream, with flavors like passion fruit and white peach. It’s sold in pints, and we won’t judge if you take one down all by yourse
