WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Summer vacation. You wanted to go to Tuscany. Everyone else voted out east. Well, tough luck sugar, but you’re in for a surprise. Harvest on Fort Pond, in Montauk, has some of the best Tuscan Italian food around.
We’d recommend the char broiled oysters, a good representation of both worlds Harvest represents. From there, you can stay traditional, with the rigatoni with veal bolognese, or opt for something more familiar to the east end like skirt steak, served with the divine concoction that is roast garlic tomato butter.
The pier jutting out into Fort Pond is also a great place for a walk to tell someone you love them, with or without a ring in your back pocket.
