WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Gurney’s Star Island is looking to build on their solid start with a bevy of new additions. For the upcoming season, look for the launch of their Camp Gurney’s kids’ club, and the Gurney’s General Store.
This spot delivers on the promise of world-class quality and top-tier service you’ve come to expect from the Gurney’s brand. The Star Island property also includes a marina capable of berthing some seriously large yachts (max capacity: 220 ft / 12 ft draft). There’s a pretty solid gym, but we’d suggest making use of the location’s watersports rental service (delivered in partnership with CoreysWave, another DRL fave) and take a paddle board out for a tour in Lake Montauk. For eats, check out the more casual pizza options at Il Forno, or step up for the culinary fireworks that come courtesy of Showfish.
If you’re more about that relaxation life, you can’t go wrong with a cocktail by the pool. We hear great things about a certain “watermelon margarita.”
