Probably our favorite thing to do on a lazy summer afternoon is to head over to Duck Walk, grab a bottle with friends, and hang out in their super chill, zero-pretenses tasting room. A stark contrast to some of the other vineyard tasting rooms you’ll find on the south fork, it’s no surprise that people looking to avoid city vibes choose it, and its wine club, as their go to vino destination for time spent on the east end.
And while you’ll find that the vibe is way more chill and relaxed, make no mistake, the wine here is serious business, You’ve probably seen their Blueberry Port (made with real blueberries!) on the dessert wine menu of some of your favorite city establishments. But these guys are more than just dessert wine. We highly recommend the reserve Chardonnay, and the Windmill Blush is a perfect way to get your rosé on.
Pro tip: their blackberry dessert wine is the perfect bottle for making a filet-enhancing reduction.
