WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Some of the best food on the east end and one of Montauk’s best kept secrets is what you’ll find at the Ditch Witch. Located on the beach in Ditch Plains at the end of Otis Road, these guys can be a quest to find, but the treasure they’ve got is just so worth it.
If you’re out running dawn patrol, the Witch is definitely your stop for an egg sandwich, a cinnamon roll and a Nutty Mocha. If you’re more of the light lunch on the beach type, you’ll want one of their truly unique vegan poké bowls with an iced green tea.
But, if you’re anything like us, you’re there to really eat, and you’re headed straight for Missy’s Mixed Plate. It’s a traditional style “Hawaiian plate lunch” that takes us straight back to warm afternoons on Waikiki, albeit with some Montauk character of its own.
If you really want to savor the best that Montauk has to offer, this place is required eating.
