WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This place is so old-school, it doesn’t even have an address. That should tell you all you need to know about the Bridgehampton Candy Kitchen.
An iconic part of the Hamptons, the Candy Kitchen (as it’s known to locals) is a 1950s-style diner that’s been serving customers in Bridgehampton as far back as any of us can remember. The place is (unsurprisingly) cash only, and serves up big portions of the usual diner staples. They don’t have an Insta or a website, as far as we can tell, but we were able to find them on Facebook. Definitely worth a look, but to really get the sense of what this place is and what it means to the east end, you really just need to pay a visit. It’s a piece of Hamptons history, and a local treasure that needs to be savored.
Pro tip: milkshakes. Always milkshakes.
