Bell & Anchor’s cuisine is a throwback to Sag Harbor’s days as, well, a harbor. It’s a local staple, popular with Sag Harbor year-rounders. But, given their attention to detail on both the recipes and plating, you’d think they’re targeting the city crowd. B&A could fit right in on Madison Avenue, but we’re so glad that that’s not where it is.
The menu covers land and sea, but don’t get distracted by the tasty longbone chops you’ll see coming out of the kitchen. You want the lobster garganelli. Trust us.
Pro tip: if you’re still out east on Sunday night, Bell & Anchor’s got Montauk Pearl oysters for a dollar a piece.
